Cyber War
When they mentioned cyber war in chapter 3 of "The New Digital Age", it simply reminded me of how powerful and valuable the cyber world is to our world. The fact that our connection is so strong, still surprises me because I know that years ago if Albert Einstein would've predicted cyber warfare, they'd deny him his "genius card". It also reminded me of the season finale of season 2 of Revenge where this cryptic software was released to strip business of their money and the ironic thing was someone did that to their own company. Being that it's obvious less than what other countries will be capable of doing, we have some challenges ahead especially since our day to day routines include technology.

I agree with your thoughts on the cyber war. When it is put into this context, it does seem like more of a threat. What people should remember is that the cyber world is what we make it and what is going on over the web can have real life consequences.
ReplyDeleteYou're so right when you say the cyber world is valuable to the real world. People's lives revolve around technology and the internet and if something were to happen who knows how things would work
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with you. Our day to day lives are completely dependent on technology. If there was a global disaster that disconnected us from the internet the world would most likely fall into chaos.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the thoughts on the Cyber War as well. The cyber world puts more and more of our information and lifestyles in the hands of technology, I can think of so many people who would be lost without it. It seems like more and more people are dependent on technology with the ever-growing cyber world.
