The Data Revolution
I'm not sure how I feel about the new revolution of data simply because it allows more vulnerability, but I guess it could be a good thing simply by not having to access more than one place for information and to remove the pain of having to fill out information more than once. It possibly will allow more people/communities to come together, but putting all my information in one place is kind of risky business, but I guess that's something that has to personally grow on me.

Putting information all in one place seems risky to me as well, for the simple reason that if that one site or organization is down then their is no other way to reach your information
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree that it is risky to have all of your information in one place. It is hard to trust that things will always work out and guarantee that things will be safe wherever you put them.
ReplyDeleteI am also not too sure about the vulnerability that goes along with the new revolution of data, but I think in time there will be more security to the information that you put online. Also, I do believe it will allow people to come together and will relieve the pain of having to fill information out over and over again.
